An expanded installation project that demonstrates the effects of 16mm film manipulation through hand painting, scratching, and bleaching. As two channels of film are projected, a live demonstration of film painting will take place. For FlowILM, one channel of projection will focus specifically on the aquatic environment.
Holden Treadway works across installation, expanded cinema, and experimental creation. His work explores analog manipulation and new media. Holden is an MFA student and instructor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
